We regret to announce that the Leeds Meets will no longer be taking place at Atlas Brauhaus from July onwards.
We have been told by Charlotte, the General Manager, that the bar has been bought by another company and it will be turned into a cocktail bar in mid-July.
This is very disappointing news as, even though we have only had three meets at Atlas, we felt we had found a new home into which we could grow. The bar was popular amongst the furs and we had made a very positive impression on the bar staff, so much so that they even made us our own ‘Phoenix Feathers’ shot at our last meet.
We were told just before that meet and since then Charlotte has contacted a number of bars on our behalf to help find us a new venue. This has been very much appreciated and we are delighted to announce that Bar Soba will be our new home for the foreseeable future.
Bar Soba is located on Merrion Street, close to the city centre and particularly Briggate. We spoke to their General Manager on Friday and he is looking forward to welcoming us on 15th July. We will have the whole of the bottom floor while during the summer months there will also be outdoor seating on Merrion Street. They serve a full range of drinks as well as Asian fusion food which we can highly recommend.
We would like to thank Charlotte and her team at Atlas for accommodating us during the last three months and Charlotte in particular for helping us find a new home so quickly. We hope you really like the new venue and see you in July!
The address of Bar Soba is 9a Merrion Street, LS1 6PQ.Back to all News and Reports
