The current meet venue, The Old Red Bus Station, is a 10 minute walk from Leeds Railway Station making it very easy to get to from both rail services and any buses which serve the station. It is also an even shorter walk from the modern day Leeds Bus Station. On meet days, people will gather by the WH Smiths on the main concourse of Leeds train station between 11.30 and 12 noon before heading over to the bar.
Whilst we try and keep this information as uptodate as possible, pricing can change with short notice.
Unfortunately with the recent opening of the Trinity development, parking prices in Leeds have increased dramatically.
The best options we know of currently in close proximity to the venue or railway station are:-
- QPark Wellington Street – Castle Street, off Lisbon Street, LS1 4LT
This is a privately-owned 24-hour multi-storey car park. The Saturday and Sunday “all-day” rate of £5 and close proximity to the station makes this a very attractive option. Even without the all-day price, the £12 for 12 hours rate is far cheaper than NCP Trinity or the railway station long-stay.
- NCP / Trinity car park
This privately-owned 24-hour car park is the former NCP Boar Lane and is accessible from the Calls section of the City Centre Loop road, near the Dark Arches. It is a pay-on-exit car park, accepts credit and debit cards (when the machines are working), and is (as you can guess by its name) generally intended as a car park for the Trinity shopping centre.
Rates at the time of writing are £11 for six hours, £15 for 6-8 hours and £20 for 8-24 hours.
There is a £3 “evening rate”, which may be worth considering if you stay later than 5pm. To take advantage of this, you’d have to leave the car park at 5pm, loop round and re-park. The cost of fuel and effort may be more than this is worth.
- Leeds Railway Station Short/Long Stay
This is the 24-hour car park (actually three separate car parks) which serves Leeds railway station. Note that with the opening of the Trinity shopping centre, prices have increased markedly. Rates are now £11 for up to six hours in either the multi-storey or surface sections of the long-stay car park and £19 for up to 24 hours. This makes it slightly cheaper (£1) than Trinity if you intend to stay from e.g. 11am to 8pm, but the 6-8hr rate is the same.
Unless you have a strong desire to burn through money at an alarming rate, do not park in the short-stay section near the station entrance. If you do, you’ll find yourself paying an astronomical £35 for three hours and £20 for every hour after that.
Non 24-hour (so be sure to check opening/closing times)
- APCOA Leeds “The Dark Arches” – Arches 1-17, Dark Neville Street, Leeds, LS1 4BR
This can be found off Neville Street not far from the station.

Saturday rate: £3.10 (for up to 24 hours) – CASH ONLY
- PCOA Swinegate Multi-Storey – 90a-98 Commercial Garages, Swinegate, Leeds LS1 5DL

Saturday rate: £5/day
